Victoria's art practice embraces an extensive range of materials including, acrylic paint/ink and spray, printmaking ink, pastel and collage. She works in painting, printmaking and photography and often combines these disciplines to create the desired effect.
The major source of inspiration comes from examining and manipulating images photographed and sketched on location in the U.K. and abroad. The images are used in the studio as a starting point to create a body of work or sometimes a single piece.
Coating the support with her chosen medium, she paints in a largely intuitive and spontaneous way with colour, texture and mark making. Her paintings often have a glass-like quality; several layers of transparent and opaque colours along with texture create depth and a very tactile feel to the work.
